Emergency Repair Scheduling Model for Road Network Integrating Rescheduling Feature

When a natural disaster occurs, road maintenance departments always face the challenge of how to assign repair resources properly recover damaged segments as soon possible. From literature review, most studies treat such problems vehicle routing problem (VRP). In those studies, are dispatched complete crews, and cannot be divided into smaller scales. Furthermore, each point is only allowed one group it, without considering possibility accelerating production rate subjected specific objectives. Such limitation restricts required in an inflexible manner. Therefore, this study defines all works emergency project adopts framework Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem (RCPSP), which can resolve complicated resource assignment issue. A novel scheduling model for network proposed based on Constraint Programming (CP) searching algorithm facilitate formulation. According RCPSP concepts, points set activities travel routes between transit activities. All linked by assigned accordingly. order consider second-wave hazard events where new may occur, added projects, rescheduling feature integrated model. Through two case research findings show that easily modulated adapt different situations satisfying practical management goals solving networks efficiently.
